Great buffet As a first timer coming here, I was impressed. The buffet is very clean and organized. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is great and they have a lot to choose from. The prices are great. especially for lunch. I highly recommend this place ***If anyone likes my honest reviews, then please like my post and follow my google account*** -Thanks
I only put 50 to 100 because my gf and I went on all can eat crab legs night, and it's about 50 a person with the Gun Lake Casino rewards card. But the buffet was very good as always and I look forward to going back again because the food is always good and I really enjoy it. The other nights are cheaper, though, like Thursdays and Saturdays, I believe. But I'd recommend going to this if you're at the casino.
We always have an exceptional experience at Harvest Buffet! The food is great and the service is excellent! VIP
Food was ok however the Asian section was amazing and pretty fresh, I asked for a hibachi and they made it within 5 minutes, the cook recommended sweet sesame sauce which was amazing. My server was Dustin and he did a wonderful job checking up on me every 10 or so minutes.
This is one of my favorite places to go when I’m craving crab legs. Sundays (And apparently Friday nights too) are the All-You-Can-Eat Crab Legs buffet days and if you love snow crab legs, you need to visit. Make sure to get a players card from the casino desk before visiting, as that will get you 5 off per person (per card). Isn’t it the worst when you go someplace like Red Lobster or other seafood establishment, pay current crabby price for said crab, only to have it oversteamed and impossible to extract from the shells, or under steamed and coated in white, squishy yuckiness? It’s the worst! (Ok, first world problems so... not the worst, but you get it) You won’t get that at the Harvest Buffet, and even if you do, you just tell the individual who is serving you 4-5 sets of delicious leggies that they were not cooked right, and you can bet the next batch will be cooked to perfection! It’s always a mess when I leave; unfortunately, cracking open copious amounts of crab legs will splatter water and hot drawn butter across the table, but the staff is ready with napkins, wet naps and a bucket to dump the shells in. I always a couple lemons to rinse the crabby smell off my hands. I’ve come here before with friends who don’t eat seafood, and the rest of the buffet is good enough for them as well. Check out the video I uploaded of the full buffet and all that it offers. The dessert island is another of my favored things about this buffet- they have a rotation of seasonal Hudsonville ice cream, as well as a pretty decent creme brulee . There’s a reason I keep returning here despite the drive, and it’s because CRAB . 10/10 would recommend.
Harvest Buffet at Gun Lake Casino is a Crab-Leg Paradise! My partner and I had an amazing experience at Harvest Buffet in Gun Lake Casino, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a scrumptious crab-leg buffet. Despite our initial disappointment of not being able to secure a spot a few weeks ago, now, the extended timings and virtual waiting list made everything smooth and well-organized. The 90 minutes time limit was perfect for us to enjoy the crabs, and the service was beyond excellent. For me, a first time crab eater it was a messy experience but we got enough napkins and even could have gotten get bibs. And everyone was messy, so we didn’t felt guilty. The buffet had an extensive variety beside the seafood highlights, and all the food was well-prepared, especially the nutty butter. We appreciated the gentle reminder that our time was up, but we could finish without any pressure and indulge in desserts. Overall, Harvest Buffet is a must-visit for all seafood lovers, and we can't wait to go back again!
Not sure why this place has an overall rating of less than four. Maybe people loose at the casino, and take it out on the casino/buffet when they write their reviews. The staff tend to be great as far as cleaning plates, refilling drinks, and being friendly. Never an empty serving tray, the food is always within the danger zone, good variety, clean, and at an affordable price. One minor thing I wasn't a fan of was the seating. You are seated. The restaurant wasn't near to capacity, yet myself and other parties had to sit in the back next to the fire door exit. Myself being right-handed, looking at the fire door exit, and bumping my elbow on the wall from time-to-time as I was eating wasn't enjoyable, but other than that, it was a good experience.
